Role: We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic colleague to work as Oracle Full Stack Developer and Your role will be to offer the best development solutions to our end customer (Metro Cash &

• Carry), that uses our strategic business application which supports the Main Cashier activities from Metro stores. We develop new requirements and offer support for ~20 countries.

Team: We are a big team consisting of 6 Developers - you will be the 7th one, 1 QA, a dedicated Support &

• Maintenance Engineers team and 4 OPS engineers working using Agile Methodology (Scrum and Kanban).

Our team is a mixt one: Juniors, Professionals, Seniors and Experts

• The development team members are located in Romania, Bucharest, our SLS and AO team is located in Romania and India.

Job Requirments

You will: Work as Full Stack Developer using PL/SQL, Oracle Forms and Reports best practices

• Solve Bugs reported by QA or by customers
• Contribute with the rest of the colleagues to maintain our Development metrics in target
• Help support colleagues to offer solutions to our stakeholders tickets (Jira items) in a timely manner
• Check and fix the root cause of application/database errors and document them
• Fix/Optimize/Automate recurrent issues reported by our stakeholders or by the team
• Support our Business Analysts with technical information
• Answer to questions related to our application functionalities, flows, projects, received via email
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, knowledge sharing sessions, project meetings
• Write technical documentation

You're a great fit if you have

Strong knowledge and experience in PL/SQL and Oracle Forms Development;

Experience in financing and/or accountancy is a great plus

• Knowledge of Developing BI Publisher Reports is a great plus
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset
• Great communication and team working skills; strong customer orientation
• University degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology or comparable field
• Ability to communicate and collaborate efficiently
• High interest in continuous learning and development (technologies, methodologies, tuning, optimizations, performance)
• Self-motivation to achieve consistently high-quality results
• Ability to think out of the box and challenge the status quo
• Openness to share knowledge and best practices with the team
• Excellent command of English, both spoken and written.
