Senior DevOps Lead Client Project Delivery

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Lead Client Delivery who will take complete ownership of DevOps strategy, architecture, and execution for assigned client accounts.

This role is client-facing and responsible for

• Leading DevOps initiatives end-to-end
• Designing scalable, secure cloud-native solutions
• Managing DevOps engineers aligned to the project
• Acting as the primary technical authority for the client

The ideal candidate should be capable of operating as a technical leader, solution architect, and delivery owner.

Key Responsibilities

• Client Leadership & Architecture
• Act as the DevOps SPOC for client stakeholders.
• Define DevOps roadmap aligned to business goals.
• Architect secure, scalable, and cost-optimized cloud solutions (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Lead infrastructure, CI/CD, containerization, and automation strategies.

Technical Ownership

• Design and implement :
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)
• Kubernetes-based deployments
• CI/CD pipelines
• Observability & monitoring solutions
• Define deployment strategies (Rolling, Canary, Blue/Green).
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and security compliance.

Delivery & Governance

• Lead DevOps engineers aligned to the project.
• Ensure SLA, security, and compliance adherence.
• Conduct regular infra & CI/CD audits.
• Handle escalations and perform root cause analysis.
• Drive automation-first and DevSecOps mindset.

Collaboration

• Work closely with :
• Engineering teams
• Product teams
• Security teams
• Client IT leadership
• Participate in architectural discussions and solution proposals.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in DevOps/Cloud Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with :
• AWS (Preferred )/ GCP / Azure (Should have handson experience on other 2 clouds as well)
• Terraform (primary IaC tool)
• Kubernetes (EKS/GKE/AKS)
• CI/CD tools (Jenkins preferred)
• Experience in containerization (Docker) and orchestration.
• Experience implementing DevSecOps practices (SAST/DAST, secrets management).
• Strong scripting skills (Python / Go / Bash).
• Deep understanding of :
• Cloud networking
• IAM
• Monitoring & logging
• Security best practices
• Excellent communication & stakeholder management skills.
