It is a sister concern of Kohinoor Plastech, which is the largest manufacturer of Cell Fill formwork used in Cell Fill Concrete technology. This technology has been developed by IIT Kharagpur and is used for construction of rural roads. The firm is based out of Kolkata and has branch offices in Jaipur, Raipur and Guwahati. Role

O&M Manager (Solar) is a full-time, on-site role, responsible for the performance, uptime and client satisfaction for our entire portfolio of Residential and C&I rooftop solar plants.

Greater Kolkata Area, West Bengal

Experience

Minimum relevant experience of 3 - 5 Years in Solar Sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Portfolio Performance & Monitoring

ü Track daily energy generation across residential and C&I plants using remote monitoring platforms (RMS).

ü Analyze generation drops, identify root causes (soiling, inverter faults, grid outages) and dispatch maintenance teams.

ü Prepare monthly and quarterly generation and performance reports.

• Maintenance & Operations Execution

ü Schedule and oversee Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedules, including panel cleaning, thermal imaging and electrical health checks.

ü Coordinate swift Corrective Maintenance (CM) to minimize downtime when system failures occur.

ü Manage customer service tickets for residential clients, ensuring fast resolution times (SLAs).

• Team & Vendor Management

ü Lead, train, and schedule in-house field technicians and freelance service partners.

ü Onboard and manage regional third-party O&M contractors to handle geographically dispersed residential sites.

ü Manage relationships with OEMs (Inverter and Module manufacturers) to execute warranty claims efficiently.

• Safety, Compliance & Budgeting

ü Enforce strict electrical safety guidelines (LOTO, PPE) for all field staff and subcontractors.

ü Ensure all assets comply with local DISCOM regulations, net-metering norms and CEIG safety guidelines.

ü Track the O&M budget, optimize operational expenses and maintain an inventory of critical spares (fuses, MC4 connectors, spare inverters).

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Solar Service, Operations, O&M or Maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of Solar PV Systems, Inverters, Battery Storage, Monitoring Platforms.
• Experience managing field technicians and service teams.
• Strong customer management and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with CRM and service management software.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Compensation & Earning Potential

CTC: 20% over and above the current salary.
