On Premise DevOps Engineer

Location: Belapur (Navi Mumbai)

Role : DevOps On premise (CI/Cd and Gitlab)

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application deployment in on-prem environments
• Manage and support on-prem infrastructure, including servers, storage, and networks
• Automate deployment, monitoring, and configuration management using tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
• Work with development and QA teams to streamline release cycles and improve deployment efficiency
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability
• Manage and maintain version control systems (Git, Bitbucket, etc.)
• Implement logging and monitoring solutions (e.g., Nagios, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
• Ensure security, compliance, and patch management for infrastructure systems
• Support containerization and orchestration solutions (Docker, Kubernetes on-prem clusters)
• Optimize resource utilization and capacity planning in data center environments

Required Skills & Expertise

Core Technologies

• Strong experience with Linux/Unix administration
• Hands-on experience with on-prem data center environments
• CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Bamboo
• Configuration management tools: Ansible / Chef / Puppet
• Containerization: Docker
• Orchestration: Kubernetes (on-prem setup preferred)

Infrastructure & Networking

• Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, Load Balancers, Firewalls)
• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
• Storage and backup solutions

Monitoring & Logging

• Tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Nagios, Zabbix

Scripting & Automation

• Proficiency in scripting languages: Shell, Python, Bash
