Next.js Developer| Remote| 3+ yrs.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into Next.js applications.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance web applications using the Next.js framework.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Implement responsive user interfaces and ensure a seamless user experience across devices.
• Perform unit testing and collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure application stability and performance.
• Stay updated with the latest Next.js updates, features, and best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application code to resolve issues.
• Work closely with UI/UX designers to implement visually appealing and intuitive designs.
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate applications with server-side systems.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and mentor junior developers.

• Proven experience as a Next.js Developer or in a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and React.js.
• Experience with the Next.js framework and its features, such as server-side rendering (SSR) and static site generation (SSG).
• Knowledge of state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Recoil).
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and JSON.
• Proficient in using version control systems such as Git.
• Solid understanding of web development best practices, including performance optimization and accessibility.
• Ability to optimize code for performance and address browser compatibility concerns.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of TypeScript.
• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks for React and Next.js.
• Understanding of web security best practices.
• Contribution to open-source React or Next.js projects.
