Role Description

This is an on-site internship role for a CA Trainee and Article, based in Karol Bagh. The trainee will assist with day-to-day accounting and auditing tasks, including preparation of vouchers, maintenance of books of accounts, and support in statutory and tax audits under supervision.

Responsibilities include working on direct and indirect tax compliance, help with filing returns, documentation, and basic financial analysis. The role also involves supporting senior team members in research on accounting and tax matters, preparing working papers, and ensuring accurate records for clients. Interns will be expected to learn and adhere to professional standards, maintain confidentiality, and actively participate in client and internal meetings as required.

Qualifications

• Candidates should be registered with ICAI as CA students eligible for articleship or undergoing CA training.
• Strong foundation in accounting principles, auditing concepts, and basic taxation (direct and indirect) is required.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and basic accounting software; familiarity with Tally or similar tools is an advantage.
• Good analytical and numerical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reporting.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with team members and clients.
• Ability to work on-site in Karol Bagh, manage time well, and handle multiple assignments under guidance.
• Willingness to learn, adapt to new regulations and standards, and maintain high ethical and professional conduct.
• Prior internship or practical training experience in accounting or finance is beneficial but not mandatory.
