Job Title: Model Based System Engineer – Electric Motor Design Method and Tools Engineer

•Experience: 5+ years of experience in eMotor Construction for 2D and 3D Geometry.

Educational Qualifications: Master’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

Job Purpose

Key Responsibility

  • Develop and optimize electric motor design methods, models, and engineering workflows.
  • Create and maintain digital processes for motor design, simulation, and performance analysis.
  • Build, validate, and automate engineering models, software tools, and multi-physics workflows.
  • Develop and maintain eMotor databases, model libraries, and reference architectures.
  • Create software solutions using Python and MATLAB for automation, data processing, simulation integration, and design optimization.
  • Automate simulation workflows and coordinate large-scale analyses to improve engineering efficiency.
  • Support thermal, electromagnetic, performance, efficiency, and NVH analysis of electric motors.
  • Develop, calibrate, and enhance thermal and NVH engineering models and capabilities.
  • Integrate simulation tools and optimization frameworks into Digital Twin and engineering ecosystems.
  • Manage engineering data, model configurations, and design parameters.
  • Validate models using laboratory, bench, and vehicle test data.
  • Apply engineering models to customer projects and communicate technical results.
  • Support development, testing, and release of engineering tool/applications.
  • Drive continuous improvement, standardization, and adoption of new methods, tools, and technologies.
  • Mentor engineers and contribute to technical knowledge sharing across global teams.

What We Are Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in electric motor design, including 2D and 3D motor geometry development.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with hybrid and electric propulsion systems.
  • Strong expertise in electric motor design and simulation tools such as Motor-CAD, Maxwell, or equivalent software.
  • Hands-on experience with Python and MATLAB for engineering analysis, automation, and model development.
  • Solid understanding of:
  • Electromagnetic analysis
  • Thermal analysis
  • CFD and FEA methods
  • Analytical modeling techniques
  • Design optimization and model simplification
  • Automotive industry or electrified powertrain development experience.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with engineering workflow automation, simulation integration, and digital engineering solutions.
  • Experience with configuration management systems and engineering data management processes.
  • Knowledge of engineering data storage, retrieval, and archival methodologies.
  • Expertise in electric motor NVH, dynamics, electromagnetics, and thermal systems.
  • Experience with time-domain, frequency-response, and modal analysis techniques.
  • Experience with simulation and modelling tools such as:
  • ANSYS Suite
  • MathWorks Suite
  • GT-SUITE
  • Amesim
  • Mathcad
  • MANATEE
  • Experience with co-simulation environments and software integration.
