Roles and Responsibilities

• Responsible for the verification, certification, and validation of device chipsets, mobile device products.
• Responsible for loading the new Binaries into the devices (Flashing), Update RF calibration data, and execute stationary and field test cases.
• Responsible for testing features like Mobile origination, termination, Long calls, basic Sanity, Regression, Smoke, Throughput, CSFB, SRVCC, SRLTE, NB-IoT, Hybrid, 1xRTT, IoT, VoLTE, CA, Car Kit, VoWiFi, Emergency Calls, Bluetooth, Power, WiFi, Camera, Smart TV, Consumption, Games, Wearables, Stationary and Mobility testing, etc.
• Responsible for performing KPI testing, Stability testing, Automation testing Modem/Board Testing for 5G, 4G, 3G & 2G technologies
• Field testing (drive testing) in designated test areas or scout for various operators.
• Identify new issues and performing intensive regression testing of device targets, and raising the new issue.
• Solid understanding of wireless and mobile technologies (GSM/GPRS/EDGE, W-CDMA/HSPA+, LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, RFID/NFC, EVDO,1xRTT)
• Create, execute, maintain and report on product feature performance, conformance, and regression tests
• Participate in the review of requirements and contribute to detail specification of features for new networking products Preferred Skills using RFC & 3GPP Specs.
• Candidate must be technically sound on hardware/software development and release processes, detail-oriented, able to identify, troubleshoot, and clearly document all problems and drive quality to exceed customer expectations
• Knowledge of wireless protocol log capturing and diagnosis tools for various chipsets such as QXDM, Shannon DM, ELT, Logel, Wireshark etcetera
• Execute the Test Cases and analyze Test results and accordingly diagnose defects and track them from creation to closure using client proprietary database
• Create the Test Cases or add on value addition to existing testing as per the new or existing requirement from clients
• Respond to all requests from team members in a timely professional manner

Desired Candidate Profile

• Experience in Mobile/Chipset Testing

Proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is essential for creating the test reports
