Role Overview

We're seeking a Mobile Tech Lead to architect, develop, and lead the mobile engineering efforts for our flagship decentralized products. You will work primarily with React Native (Expo), while also integrating native Android/iOS modules where needed. Experience in Web3, blockchain, and cryptography is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the mobile development team in building scalable, secure, and high-performance applications.
• Architect and implement mobile features using React Native (Expo) and native modules (Android/iOS) where required.
• Collaborate with blockchain engineers to integrate Web3 functionalities (wallets, smart contracts, decentralized identity).
• Ensure best practices in code quality, security, and performance across the mobile stack.
• Define and enforce Git branching strategies, version control workflows, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor developers, and foster a culture of technical excellence.
• Work closely with product managers, designers, and backend teams to deliver seamless user experiences.
• Stay updated on emerging trends in mobile development, Web3, and cryptography.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5 years of strong proficiency in React Native.
• Hands-on experience with native Android (Kotlin/Java) and/or iOS (Swift/Objective-C) development.
• Solid understanding of mobile architecture, performance optimization, and responsive design.
• Experience integrating Web3 technologies (e.g., wallet connect, Ethereum, smart contracts).
• Familiarity with cryptographic principles and secure data handling.
• Proven experience in leading mobile teams, managing sprints, and delivering production-grade apps.
• Expertise in Git workflows, branching strategies, and release management.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools, mobile testing frameworks, and deployment processes.

Good to Have Skills

• Experience with blockchain SDKs (e.g., WalletConnect, MetaMask Mobile, AFJ, etc).
• Exposure to decentralized identity (DID), zero-knowledge proofs, or secure enclave technologies.
• Contributions to open-source mobile or Web3 projects.
• Experience building social media applications.
• Understanding of government-grade security and compliance standards.
