Mobile Software Engineer

Role Overview: We are looking for a specialized Mobile Application Developer to lead the development of our patient-facing mobile experience on both iOS and Android. This app serves as the primary touchpoint for pregnant and postpartum moms, integrating remote physiologic monitoring (RPM) and clinical screenings.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, test, and deploy features in React Native (TypeScript), ensuring a fluid mobile experience across iOS and Android.
• Implement robust app-side device pairing via Bluetooth for Remote Physiologic Monitoring (RPM), seamlessly capturing data from blood pressure cuffs, scales, and Tenovi fetal HR monitors.
• Integrate interactive features including real-time chat, personalized maternal educational content delivery, and a curated marketplace for ancillary services.
• Implement standardized clinical screening flows, specifically the Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale (EPDS).

Requirements

Required Technical Skills & Qualifications

• Core Stack: Advanced TypeScript/JavaScript and React Native (including native bridges where necessary).
• Hardware Interoperability: Proven experience with CoreBluetooth (iOS), Android Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) APIs, or third-party RPM ingestion toolkits (e.g., Tenovi).
• Experience: 4+ years in mobile development, with a portfolio showcasing deployed apps that interact with external hardware or IoT devices.
