Mobile App Engineer Internship

Responsibilities of the Intern

• Build and ship mobile app screens for product listings, user profiles, checkout, and order tracking.
• Implement smooth navigation and tab/modal flows using React Navigation.
• Develop reusable, responsive UI components using NativeWind or React Native StyleSheet.
• Integrate the mobile application with backend REST APIs and GraphQL services.
• Handle offline caching, push notifications, and deep linking.
• Optimize application performance by reducing re-renders, managing images, and improving load times.
• Develop and maintain OTP login screens.
• Collaborate on payment UI flows.
• Document components, setup guides, and technical learnings.
• Contribute to a React.js-based admin panel or web companion application (preferred).

Requirements

• Pursuing or completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of React Native with at least one completed mobile application project.
• Good knowledge of styling, including Flexbox, responsive layouts, and UI design principles.
• Familiarity with JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, async/await, components, and props.
• Understanding of REST API integration using Fetch or Axios.
• Willingness to learn, ask questions, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently in a remote and flexible setup.
• Familiarity with NativeWind, Tailwind CSS, or another utility-first CSS framework.
• Exposure to React.js through personal, academic, or freelance projects.
• GitHub profile showcasing mobile or frontend development projects is preferred.
• Basic understanding of iOS and Android app deployment.
• Strong attention to UI/UX details and visual design.
