Mid - level Php developer

Job Description

We are looking for a talented and experienced Mid-Level PHP Developer to join our team. As a Mid-Level Developer, you will be responsible for developing, implementing,

and maintaining PHP-based applications and websites. You will work closely with our development team to deliver high-quality code and innovative solutions that meet our clients' needs. This role requires strong technical skills in PHP programming, as well as a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating efficient and scalable web applications.

Responsibilities

• Full-Stack Development: Design, develop, and maintain PHP-based web

applications, including both front-end and back-end components.

• Code Optimization: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best

practices and coding standards to ensure high performance and maintainability.

• Database Integration: Integrate PHP applications with databases (MySQL,

PostgreSQL, etc.) to store and retrieve data efficiently.

• API Development: Develop and consume RESTful APIs for integrating with

third-party services and internal systems.

• Front-End Development: Implement user interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript,

and modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js) to create responsive and visually appealing web experiences.

• Testing and Debugging: Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to

identify and fix bugs, performance issues, and security vulnerabilities.

• Version Control: Use version control systems (e.g., Git) to manage code repositories

and collaborate with other developers effectively.

• Documentation: Document technical specifications, codebase, and development

processes to facilitate knowledge sharing and maintain a robust codebase.

• Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, product

managers, and quality assurance testers to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget.

• Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and

best practices in web development, PHP programming, and related technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 4+ years of professional experience in PHP web development, with a strong

understanding of PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter.

• Proficiency in front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and

modern JavaScript frameworks/libraries (e.g., React, Vue.js).

• Solid understanding of relational database concepts and experience working with

SQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).

• Experience with RESTful API development and consumption using JSON or XML.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues

Independently.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a proactive attitude and a

willingness to learn and share knowledge with team members.

• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools such as JIRA or Trello.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., PHPUnit) and continuous

integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines is a plus.
