Mid-Level Full-Stack Engineer — Remote Contract, India

xlink is looking for a reliable mid-level full-stack engineer for a long-term remote contract.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain responsive web applications and community features
• Develop backend APIs, authentication systems, and internal admin tools
• Build authorized data ingestion and transformation pipelines
• Design and maintain PostgreSQL or MySQL databases
• Implement background jobs, caching, monitoring, and error handling
• Deploy and operate applications on Linux-based infrastructure
• Diagnose application, server, and database issues
• Write maintainable code and document completed work

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong experience with Python or Node.js
• Experience with React, Next.js, Vue.js, or a similar frontend framework
• Experience developing REST APIs and database-backed applications
• Working knowledge of PostgreSQL or MySQL
• Familiarity with Docker, Git, Linux, Nginx, and Redis
• Professional working proficiency in English
• Ability to work independently and provide clear progress updates

Data Compliance

All data collection and integration work must use authorized sources, licensed feeds, or approved APIs. The role does not involve bypassing authentication, access controls, or third-party platform restrictions.

Work Arrangement

• Location: Remote within India
• Engagement: Long-term independent contractor
• Schedule: Approximately 40 hours per week
• Time overlap: At least 4 hours with Korea Standard Time
• Compensation: USD $1,300–$1,500 per month, depending on experience
• Compensation is a gross contractor fee before the contractor’s local taxes
• A short paid technical assessment may be requested after the initial interview
