Microsoft D365 Super User – Global Supply Chain (Project Role)

Role purpose

We are looking for a hands-on Microsoft D365 Super User to join our Global Supply Chain organisation and play a key role in our Microsoft D365 implementation and rollout project.

The role reports into Global Supply Chain and is execution focused. The Super User works hands-on in the system and acts as a functional expert, first-line support and change agent within defined Supply Chain areas. A central responsibility of the role is to protect, anchor and enforce the Global D365 Template, ensuring consistent use of standardised processes and system configurations across all group companies and thereby supporting an evergreen ERP platform.

Scope of the Super User role

The Super User responsibility is limited to the following Global Supply Chain areas:

  • Sales & Operation Planning
  • Sourcing & Procurement
  • Warehouse & Logistics
  • Shipping & Transportation

Key responsibilities

Hands-on D365 project role

  • Act as a hands-on Super User in the Microsoft D365 project within Global Supply Chain
  • Work closely with Process Owners, Business Process Owners, IT and external implementation partners
  • Support clarification of business requirements while ensuring all solutions align with the approved

Global Template

Global Template ownership and standardisation

  • Act as a guardian of the Global D365 Template within the defined Supply Chain areas
  • Ensure adherence to standardised processes, configurations and system architecture
  • Challenge local deviations and work actively to keep solutions within the global standards
  • Support a disciplined template-first approach to secure scalability, stability and long-term maintainability
  • Contribute directly to ensuring an evergreen ERP platform, minimising customisations and local variants

Configuration and system setup

  • Work hands-on with configuration and parameter setup in Microsoft D365 within the defined

Supply Chain scope

  • Support setup related to processes, master data and operational flows in line with the Global Template
  • Validate that configuration supports global standards and agreed system landscape principles
  • Collaborate closely with IT and external partners during configuration, design and build activities

Testing and change validation

  • Participate actively in user acceptance testing (UAT) for new functionality, updates and process changes
  • Define, execute and support test scenarios and regression testing where relevant
  • Validate that changes do not compromise existing standards or the Global Template
  • Support sign-off together with Process Owners and Business Process Owners

Training and onboarding

  • Develop and deliver training in D365 processes and system usage, anchored in global standards
  • Create and maintain training materials and scenarios reflecting the Global Template
  • Support onboarding of new users during project phases and rollouts

Rollouts to group companies

  • Play a key hands-on role in rollouts of Microsoft D365 to group companies within Supply Chain
  • Ensure local implementations follow the Global Template, including processes and system configuration
  • Support local organisations during preparation, go live and stabilisation phases
  • Train and support local users and local Super Users
  • Act as a change agent to secure adoption of global Supply Chain processes and ways of working

First-level support and knowledge bridge

  • Provide hands-on first-level D365 support during project and rollout phases
  • Act as the go-to person for Supply Chain related process and system questions
  • Escalate issues according to the defined support and governance model
  • Translate between technical language from IT and operational Supply Chain needs

Continuous improvement and feedback

  • Collect feedback, challenges and improvement suggestions from users
  • Bring structured input to Process Owners, project governance and IT
  • Support controlled and standardised improvements to the Global Template

Collaboration and stakeholders

The Super User works closely with

  • Global Supply Chain Process Owners and Business Process Owners
  • Local Supply Chain organisations in group companies
  • IT and external D365 implementation and support partners
  • Other Super Users in the global organisation

Profile

  • Strong understanding of end-to-end Supply Chain processes
  • Experience working hands-on with Microsoft D365 or similar ERP systems
  • Strong awareness of the importance of standardisation and global templates
  • Practical and execution-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work directly in the system and take ownership of configuration and testing
  • Strong communication skills and ability to bridge business and IT
  • Comfortable working in a global project environment across sites and cultures
  • Willing to travel in connection with rollouts and key project activities
