Job Description
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5-8 years of experience as a MarkLogic / Apache NiFi Developer or similar role.
- Proficiency in MarkLogic, XQuery, Optic query, and Semantic Technologies.
- Hands-on experience with the datahub framework.
- Strong experience with Apache NiFi for data integration and processing tasks.
- Comfortable working with cloud platforms, specifically Azure.
- Experience in designing and developing REST APIs.
- Knowledge of tools such as Git bash, Gradle, and at least one IDE.
- Experience working as part of a DevOps team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Job Responsibilities
- Designing, developing, and implementing solutions using MarkLogic, XQuery, Optic query, and Semantic Technologies to address complex data requirements.
- Hands-on experience with the datahub framework for managing data ingestion, curation, and mastering processes.
- Utilizing Apache NiFi for data integration, streaming, and processing tasks.
- Comfortable working with cloud platforms, specifically Azure, for deploying and managing applications and services.
- Designing and developing REST APIs to expose functionalities and data stored in MarkLogic databases.
- Proficient in using tools such as Git bash, Gradle, and any one IDE for version control, build automation, and development tasks.
- Working as part of a DevOps team to ensure seamless integration, deployment, and monitoring of applications and services.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define solution architectures, and implement best practices.
- Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
- Demonstrating excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with team members, stakeholders, and clients
