Manual Tester

Key Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing of web, mobile, and SaaS applications.
• Create and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans based on project requirements.
• Identify, document, and track bugs using tools such as Jira, Trello etc.
• Conduct Smoke Testing, Functional Testing, Regression Testing, Integration Testing, UI/UX Testing, Compatibility Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Verify bug fixes and ensure applications meet quality standards before deployment.
• Coordinate with developers, Business Analysts, and UI/UX Designers to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
• Monitor project timelines, task progress, and follow up with internal teams to ensure timely delivery.
• Assist in requirement analysis, change request management, and project documentation.
• Maintain testing documentation, release notes, and project reports.
• Support production deployment and perform post-release validation.

Skills & Requirements

• Must have 01 to 1.6 years of experience in Manual Testing with IT service-based company.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Tech field.
• Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Experience in preparing test cases, bug reports, test plans, and test execution reports.
• Hands-on experience with Jira, ClickUp, Trello or similar project management tools.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology and sprint planning.
• Basic understanding of APIs, databases (SQL), and mobile/web application testing.
• Basic knowledge of API testing using Postman is an added advantage.
• Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, or Copilot for documentation and productivity is a plus.
