Job Description & Responsibilities
Experience Required
12+ years of experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a team lead or people‑manager role.
Education
Graduate or MBA. Graduate or Post‑Graduate in commerce, economics, accounting, management or allied areas. Accounting education is mandatory.

Responsibilities
- Independently support internal stakeholders within IQVIA, including Project Operations teams represented by the Project Leader.
- Manage a team of 5‑6 project finance personnel and conduct performance appraisals.
- Govern monthly revenue and backlog accounting for a portfolio of projects, guiding PFMs toward solutions.
- Analyze monthly project revenue and backlog, identifying and correcting exceptions.
- Highlight deviations in key project performance metrics – backlog variance, write‑offs, revenue over the limit, unbilled amounts, contribution margin/realization/EBITDA.
- Provide relevant project‑level reporting and reconciliations.
- Manage ad‑hoc tasks.
- Achieve subject‑matter expertise in PFM activity.
- Train and coach colleagues in the team.
- Support the management team with compliance, quality assurance, process documentation, lean projects and other operational governance activities.
- Work in PeopleSoft ERP, handling:
- Project and activity set‑up
- Maintenance of customer contracts and project budgets
- Maintenance of milestones
- Maintenance of other project and contract data
- Maintenance of pass‑through expense forecast
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co‑workers, managers, and stakeholders.
- Work effectively in a multicultural transnational environment.
- Adhere to work instructions provided by the line manager.
- Good knowledge of statutory and management accounting.
- Pass a computer‑based assessment on numerical ability, logical ability, and English, as defined by IQVIA.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to work in shifts, in a flexible and challenging environment.
- Willingness to exhibit strong work ethics, accountability, and discipline.
- Demonstrated ability to manage people.
- Proficiency in advanced MS Excel (desirable).
- Knowledge of PeopleSoft PA module (desirable).
