Job Description
- 5+ years' Experience required in Denodo, Python, RDBMS, SQL, SAS, Qlik Sense, Power BI.
- Experience in query optimizations, stored procedures, packages, database triggers, views, functions.
- Experience in Data Modelling. Credit Risk Experience in BFSI domain.
- Experience in developing Conceptual, Logical and Physical database design for OLAP systems.
- Experience in publishing data sources on SOAP and REST based web services.
- Though it is mentioned 5+ years of exp but we are looking for very strong candidates.
Job Responsibilities
- Must able to handle Denodo Virtual DataPort administrative activities such as setting up, upgrade, scheduler setup, etc.
- Must have experience in Denodo view modeling and should be able to create a blueprint on how the Denodo views should be created.
- Must be know how to create various views in Denodo like base views, interface views, derived views, etc.
- Must be aware of performance optimization techniques in Denodo - Caching, Query Delegation, Join strategies, Remote tables, etc.
- Must be an expert in ANSI SQL paradigms like joins, group by and analytics functions, etc. Knowledge of the VQL language will be an added advantage.
- Must knowledge of ETL, DW, RDBMS(Teradata Preferred).
- Should know MPP architecture.
- Should be familiar with Bigdata tools and technologies like presto, hive, spark, datalake, blob, etc. and how to integrate Denodo with these.
- Must be able to understand business requirements and convert them into technical requirements.
