Position Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Manager – Audit, Tax & Compliance to lead client engagements, supervise audit teams and ensure timely delivery of high-quality professional services. The role requires strong technical knowledge, leadership skills and the ability to independently manage multiple assignments while maintaining excellent client relationships.

Key ResponsibilitiesAudit & Assurance

  • Independently plan, execute and conclude statutory, tax, internal and concurrent audit assignments.
  • Lead audit teams and review audit working papers, documentation and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable auditing standards, ICAI guidance and statutory requirements.
  • Coordinate with clients for audit planning, information requirements and timely completion of assignments.
  • Review financial statements and audit reports before finalisation.

Direct Taxation

  • Supervise preparation and filing of Income Tax Returns for individuals, firms, LLPs and companies.
  • Review tax computations and tax audit reports.
  • Handle income tax assessments, notices, scrutiny proceedings and departmental communications.
  • Provide tax planning and advisory services to clients.

GST & Indirect Tax

  • Review GST returns, reconciliations and annual compliances.
  • Guide clients on GST laws and compliance matters.
  • Handle GST notices, departmental queries and assessments.
  • Assist clients in GST advisory and litigation support.

Accounting & Compliance

  • Review books of accounts and financial statements.
  • Ensure compliance with TDS, PF, ESI, Professional Tax and other statutory requirements.
  • Oversee ROC compliances for companies and LLPs.
  • Ensure timely completion of monthly, quarterly and annual compliance assignments.

Client Relationship Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients.
  • Understand client requirements and provide practical business-oriented solutions.
  • Maintain long-term professional relationships through proactive communication and quality service.

Team Leadership

  • Supervise, mentor and train, Article Assistants and Audit Executives.
  • Allocate assignments and monitor team productivity.
  • Conduct technical reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Foster a culture of professionalism, accountability and continuous learning.

Practice Development

  • Identify opportunities for additional professional services within existing client relationships.
  • Assist partners in improving internal processes, quality control and operational efficiency.
  • Support implementation of technology and process improvements across the firm.

Eligibility

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).

Experience

  • Minimum 2–3 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
  • Experience in handling statutory audits, tax audits, income tax, GST and regulatory compliances.
  • Experience in independently managing client portfolios is preferred.

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of the Income Tax Act, GST laws, Companies Act and auditing standards.
  • Excellent analytical, drafting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Effective communication and client-handling capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and work under deadlines.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, TallyPrime, accounting software and tax compliance utilities.

Working Hours

  • Normal Period: Monday to Saturday, 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
  • Peak Compliance Season (July to October): Extended working hours may be required depending upon statutory deadlines and client commitments.
