Role Description The Machine Learning Engineer will work on-site in Mumbai in a full-time capacity, designing and implementing machine learning models to support Seevo’s online retail and operations. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and optimizing algorithms for pattern recognition in customer behavior, inventory, and sales data, as well as building and maintaining neural network-based solutions for recommendations and personalization. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, preparing and cleaning data, evaluating model performance, and deploying models into production systems. The Machine Learning Engineer will also monitor model accuracy, iterate on solutions, and contribute to overall data-driven decision making within the organization.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science and Algorithms, with experience in designing efficient, scalable solutions.
• Proficiency in Statistics and Pattern Recognition for analyzing data and building robust predictive models.
• Hands-on experience with Neural Networks and modern machine learning frameworks for developing and deploying models.
• Practical experience with programming languages such as Python or similar, and familiarity with data processing tools and libraries.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to work collaboratively with product, design, and operations teams, and communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
• Experience with e-commerce, recommendation systems, or retail analytics is an advantage.
