About the Role

We're looking for a UI/UX & Graphic Designer who will own the design of the Trend Money app and brand end-to-end. This is a deeply technical, user-experience-first role: you'll research how investors think, design flows that make complex financial decisions feel simple, and build the design and brand systems that scale with us.

Finance is high-stakes and high-anxiety for users. Your job is to design clarity, trust, and confidence into every screen.

What You'll Do

Product & UX

Design end-to-end app experiences — user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity UI, and interactive prototypes for iOS/Android/Web

Conduct user research: interviews, usability testing, journey mapping, and behavioural analysis of how investors navigate money decisions

Translate research insights into information architecture and interaction patterns that reduce friction and cognitive load

Design for trust — onboarding, KYC, risk profiling, portfolio dashboards, and advisory flows where clarity is non-negotiable

Work closely with Founders and developers; deliver dev-ready specs, components, and handoffs (auto-layout, variants, tokens)

Ship, measure, iterate — use funnel data, heatmaps, and user feedback to continuously improve UX

Design Systems & Brand

Build and maintain a scalable design system — tokens, components, typography, iconography, and usage guidelines

Own Brand IP creation — visual identity, brand assets, illustration style, and a distinctive design language that is unmistakably Trend Money

Produce graphic and marketing creatives (social, app store, campaigns) consistent with the brand system

Mandatory Skills

Figma — expert-level: auto-layout, components, variants, variables/tokens, prototyping

Canva — for fast-turnaround marketing and social creatives

Adobe Suite — Photoshop, Illustrator (After Effects a plus)

AI-Driven Designing — hands-on with AI design tools (e.g., Midjourney, Firefly, AI features in Figma) to accelerate ideation and production

Design Systems — proven experience building or maintaining one

Brand IP Making — creating original, ownable brand identities and assets

User Research — structured research methods, usability testing, and turning findings into design decisions

What We're Looking For A strong portfolio showing shipped app UI/UX work and the research/thinking behind it — not just visuals

Systems thinker: you design reusable components, not one-off screens

Understanding of accessibility, responsive design, and platform conventions (Material / Human Interface Guidelines)

Ability to simplify dense financial data into scannable, intuitive interfaces (charts, dashboards, numbers-heavy UI)

Comfort with ambiguity, fast iteration, and direct collaboration with founders and engineers

Interest in fintech, investing, or personal finance is a strong plus
