Role Description

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud DevOps Team Lead to join our Cloud Operations team. This role will be responsible for leading a team of engineers in designing, building, and supporting cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and automation frameworks. The Team Lead will provide technical guidance, ensure best practices, and drive initiatives that enable secure, scalable, and reliable application delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor the Cloud DevOps team, providing technical guidance, coaching, and performance management while fostering collaboration and innovation.
  • Actively design, deploy, and support cloud infrastructure, including provisioning, lifecycle management, and recovery support.
  • Oversee and contribute to implementation and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
  • Guide the team in designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, while also contributing to complex pipeline configurations.
  • Define standards for configuring and supporting tools such as GitHub, Bitbucket, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, ADO, Bamboo, Tekton, Argo CD and Docker, while assisting with critical tool integrations.
  • Drive automation initiatives and personally develop scripts using Python, PowerShell, Shell scripting, and terraform.
  • Supervise and contribute to the design and maintenance of Ansible playbooks and roles for infrastructure automation.
  • Ensure effective cloud image build automation across Azure, AWS, and GCP using HashiCorp Packer and Ansible, while supporting complex builds directly.
  • Oversee and contribute to the configuration and management of artifact and image repositories such as JFrog Artifactory.
  • Champion integration of security tools (Checkmarx, Prisma Cloud, SonarQube, Undraleu) into CI/CD pipelines, while validating critical implementations.
  • Establish secure processes for secrets management using CyberArk and HashiCorp Vault, while supporting sensitive configurations directly.
  • Oversee CI/CD pipeline configurations to support release management and change management (ServiceNow), while contributing to complex release cycles.
  • Drive adoption of automated testing frameworks (Java, Selenium, UiPath) and personally contribute to high-impact test automation.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong hands-on experience with any cloud services(Microsoft Azure/AWS).
  • Minimum of seven years’ experience in DevOps and Infrastructure.
  • Strong programming and scripting skills in Python, Shell scripting, and terraform with proven ability to develop automation scripts, and support infrastructure workflows..
  • Proven experience designing and implementing Terraform-based Infrastructure as Code.
  • Extensive experience with CI/CD pipeline architecture and DevOps tooling specifically Jenkins
  • Hands-on experience with Ansible automation and configuration management.
  • Experience with containerization, image automation, and artifact management tools.
  • Practical exposure to leveraging AI/ML techniques for enhancing CI/CD processes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in large-scale or enterprise cloud environments.
  • Strong knowledge of DevSecOps practices and secure pipeline design.
  • Experience supporting mission-critical or regulated workloads.
