Lead Golang Developer

Value Spectrum Technologies is looking for an experienced Lead Golang Developer for HYDERABAD location to drive the design and development of scalable backend applications while leading a team of engineers. This role requires a strong technical leader who can mentor developers, drive architectural decisions, and deliver high-quality software solutions.

📍 Location: Hyderabad (Hybrid/4 Days a week)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable backend applications using Go (Golang).
• Design and build secure, high-performance RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Lead, mentor, and guide a team of backend developers, ensuring high engineering standards.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, Frontend Developers, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver business-critical solutions.
• Review code, enforce best practices, and ensure high-quality, maintainable code.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and optimize application performance.
• Design scalable database solutions using MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Drive technical discussions, architectural decisions, and development planning.
• Ensure adherence to secure coding practices, coding standards, and CI/CD processes.
• Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and technical roadmap discussions.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of software development experience.
• Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in Go (Golang) development.
• Proven experience leading or mentoring development teams.
• Strong expertise in designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Solid understanding of Go concurrency (goroutines and channels).
• Strong experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and performance tuning skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
