Lead Backend Engineer (Python & AI Systems)

Job Summary

We are looking for a Lead Backend Developer with 4–6 years of experience in building

and deploying scalable backend systems. The ideal candidate should have hands-on

experience with Python and AI-driven solutions, a proven track record of working on live production projects, and strong team leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of backend systems and APIs
• Architect scalable, secure, and high-performance backend solutions
• Work closely with product managers, frontend developers, and AI teams
• Guide and mentor backend developers, conduct code reviews, and ensure best

practices

• Take ownership of live projects, deployments, and production support
• Collaborate on system design, workflows, and technical decision-making
• Ensure code quality, performance optimization, and system reliability
• Support integration of AI/ML components into backend systems

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience in backend development
• Strong proficiency in Python and Node.js (preferred).
• Experience working with AI / ML-based systems using Python (integration,

APIs, workflows)

• Hands-on experience deploying and managing live production projects
• Solid understanding of system design, architecture, and backend workflows
• Experience with RESTful APIs and backend frameworks
• Familiarity with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and data handling
• Experience in team handling and technical leadership roles
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and cross-functional teams

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure)
• Experience with Node.js for backend development.
• Exposure to DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
