Position: Junior Video Editor - Podcast & Social Media

Location: Remote

Job Type: Full-time

Compensation: INR 30,000 – 35,000 per month

We are looking for a passionate Junior Video Editor to join our team. In this role, you’ll support the editing and delivery of podcasts, reels, and other social media videos for WrittenlyHub and its brands.

You will handle weekly editing workload for long-form podcast episodes and short clips for , Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.

Your goal is simple: turn raw recordings into clean, engaging, on-brand videos that are ready to publish.

What you’ll do

• Edit, colour-correct and sound-mix each podcast episode (≈ 35–45 min).
• Use Opus Clip to turn podcasts into social media clips automatically.
• Keep project files, b-roll, music and templates organised in the shared drive.
• Check every export for audio pops, jump cuts and subtitle errors before hand-off.
• Review clip performance with marketing and tweak future edits for higher watch-time.

Required Skills & Experience

• 1+ year of video-editing work.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects. Familiarity with Final Cut Pro or DaVinci Resolve would be an added advantage.
• Basic Photoshop and Illustrator skills.
• Basic motion-graphics or caption work.
• Comfortable using Opus Clip to speed-up short-form editing.
• Basic audio cleanup.
• Ability to meet deadlines and act on asynchronous feedback.
