Junior Qa Engineer Coimbatore (India)

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior QA Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will have a robust foundation in software testing, a passion for quality, and an eagerness to learn automation testing while working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities

Design and execute manual test cases based on requirements.

Perform functional, regression, integration, and smoke testing.

Identify, report, and verify software defects.

Collaborate with developers and product teams to resolve issues.

Maintain test documentation and execution reports.

Contribute to automation testing initiatives.

Required Skills

Understanding of software testing concepts, SDLC, and STLC.

Knowledge of test case design and defect tracking (Jira or similar tools).

Basic SQL and database testing knowledge.

Robust analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Proactive attitude with keen attention to detail.

Preferred Skills

Basic knowledge of Selenium or Playwright.

Familiarity with Java, Python, or JavaScript.

Exposure to API testing using Postman.

Basic understanding of Git and Agile/Scrum.

Nice to Have

Internship or academic project experience in software testing.

ISTQB Foundation Certification (preferred but not mandatory).
