Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Junior Node.js Developer role based in Noida. The person in this role will assist in developing, testing, and maintaining server-side applications using Node.js and related technologies. Daily tasks include collaborating with senior developers to implement new features, fixing bugs, writing clean and efficient code, and integrating front-end components with back-end services. The Junior Node.js Developer will participate in code reviews, help document technical solutions, and support deployment and monitoring activities.

What you'll do

• Maintain and extend our Node.js mail-handling application — plugins, ingestion logic, API endpoints, and webhook dispatch.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs across the platform.
• Work with MySQL / MariaDB — schema design, query tuning, and data integrity across high-write workloads.
• Read and refactor legacy PHP (CodeIgniter or similar) for the dashboard migration.
• Debug and resolve live production issues — log analysis and root-cause investigation.

Whats needed

• Strong JavaScript fundamentals — async/await, promises, event-driven patterns.
• Back-end: Node.js with Express (or similar) and solid REST API design.
• Front-end: JavaScript and familiarity with a modern UI framework (React / Vue).
• Solid MySQL / MariaDB — writing and optimizing queries.
• Software development fundamentals — version control (Git), testing, and a methodical debugging approach.
• Comfort on the Linux command line.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field — or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn new tools.
• Ability to work collaboratively and follow established coding standards.
