Junior Django Developer (1-2 Year of Experience)

We're building something incredibly exciting at Aforro™, and we're looking for a Backend Developer who wants to build products from the ground up — not just work on small pieces of an existing system. You'll be working closely with the founding and engineering team to build the backend for our retailer-first quick-commerce platform, powering everything from inventory and procurement to billing, orders, settlements and retailer operations. We're specifically looking for someone who has a strong understanding of: Python & Django

REST APIs and backend architecture

Database design and PostgreSQL

System design fundamentals

Writing clean, maintainable and scalable code

Designing reliable business logic and workflows

Authentication, permissions and API security

Debugging and solving backend problems independently What you'll do

Build and maintain backend systems using Django

Design APIs and database structures for new features

Work on complex workflows across inventory, orders, billing, procurement and settlements

Take ownership of backend features from design → development → testing → deployment

Work closely with frontend, mobile and product teams to build complete features Must-haves

⚡ 1–2+ years of relevant industry experience

🐍 Strong hands-on experience with Python/Django

🗄️ Good understanding of databases and PostgreSQL

🔌 Experience building production-grade REST APIs

🧠 Strong fundamentals in system design and backend architecture
