Role details

· Title / Designation: Data Scientist - Junior

· Location: Chennai / Coimbatore

· Experience: 1 to 3 years

Role & responsibilities

· Collect, clean, and preprocess data for analysis and modelling.

· Perform EDA and feature engineering to identify key insights.

· Build, test, and optimize machine learning models.

· Support forecasting, classification, and predictive analytics projects.

· Monitor model performance and assist with improvements.

· Document code, models, and project outcomes.

· Support reporting and analytics initiatives.

· Collaborate with senior data scientists and business stakeholders.

Candidate requirements

· 1–3 years of experience in Data Science or Analytics.

· Proficiency in Python and SQL.

· Strong understanding of statistics and machine learning concepts.

· Exposure to Snowflake or similar cloud platforms.

· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

Exposure to forecasting and time-series analysis.

Familiarity with Azure, Azure DevOps, Git, or Power BI.

Interest in analytics and data-driven decision-making.

Preferred Tech stacks

· Python | SQL | Azure Machine Learning | Snowflake | Azure Cloud | Power BI
