Jr. DevOps Engineer

Key Responsibilities

CI/CD, DevOps, and Automated Delivery

• Support the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
• Follow Git-based source control practices including branching strategies and environment promotion across dev/test/prod.
• Assist in automating deployments and setting up monitoring and alerting for pipeline health.
• Work with YAML-based pipeline templates and contribute to standardized build/deploy patterns.

AI-First DevSecOps

• Learn and apply AI-assisted tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to support CI/CD workflows and productivity.
• Support AI-driven approaches for basic incident detection and operational tasks.
• Follow enterprise governance and Responsible AI guidelines in day-to-day work.

Cloud Platform Engineering

• Support and operate Azure-based infrastructure, with a focus on AKS
• Improve platform reliability through monitoring, automation, and proactive troubleshooting

Experience

• 2 to 4 years of relevant hands on experience in DevSecOps.

Knowledge and skills (general and technical)

• Cloud: Azure (core services, networking, IAM)
• Containers: Docker and Kubernetes (AKS preferred)
• CI/CD: Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions
• Security: Secrets management, vulnerability scanning
• Scripting: Python, PowerShell, or Bash
• Operations: Troubleshooting, incident response, and reliability engineering
• Observability: Monitoring, logging, and alerting fundamentals
• Knowledge on AI-assisted engineering tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) and their application in DevOps and security workflows

Preferred Qualifications

• CI/CD pipeline Implementation, Git branching strategy
• Experience with platform engineering and developer experience optimization
• Knowledge of container governance and image lifecycle management
• Familiarity with identity and access management (Entra ID, RBAC)
• Handling end to end deployments in multiple environments (Dev, QA, PROD)
• Basic knowledge on Terraform
