Role & responsibilities

JOB POSITION

• Experienced in following and implementing complete STLC processes.
• Demonstrate sound knowledge of industry best practices, good organizational and leadership skills, and proficiency in manual and automation testing.
• Identifying risk and conducting mitigation action planning.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

• Review user stories/requirements and acceptance criteria; create detailed test scenarios/cases and maintain traceability in Jira/test management tools.
• Execute manual functional, integration, regression, smoke, and end-to-end testing across UI and data layers.
• Validate ETL processing in Informatica: mappings/workflows, transformation logic, parameterization, scheduling dependencies, restart/recovery, and log analysis.
• Perform Snowflake data validations using strong SQL: source-to-target reconciliation, record counts, aggregates, null/duplicate checks, referential integrity, and exception analysis.
• Design, develop, and maintain Selenium WebDriver automation suites for UI smoke/regression; ensure stability, reusability, and clear reporting.
• Support defect lifecycle: raise high-quality defects with evidence (screenshots, logs, SQL outputs), participate in triage, verify fixes, and execute regression.
• Prepare and manage test data; coordinate environment readiness and support release/hypercare validations.
• Provide testing status, quality metrics, and risk updates; contribute to go/no-go discussions and release readiness.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (refinement, sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) and collaborate closely with Dev/PO/QA teams.

QUALIFICATION

• Bachelors or Masters is Computer Science/ IT or equivalent

EXPERIENCE

• 5+ years of relevant IT experience in Manual Testing, Automation Testing (Selenium), Snowflake, ETL Informatica, Java, SQL

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

• Strong experience in manual testing and Selenium automation (Java) frameworks.
• Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience validating data in Snowflake.
• Experience testing Informatica PowerExchange, PowerCenter and/or IDMC ETL pipelines and understanding ETL concepts (joins, lookups, aggregations, incremental loads).
• Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery and tools such as Jira/Confluence.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Nice-to-Have

• API testing/automation (Postman, RestAssured) and JSON/XML validation
• Python/Shell scripting for automated data comparisons and report generation
• CI/CD integration for automated tests (Jenkins/Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions) and Git workflows
• Cloud exposure (AWS/Azure/GCP) and understanding of storage/access basics
• Data quality tools (ICEDQ, Great Expectations) and monitoring/log tools (Splunk/ELK)
• Domain knowledge in US Healthcare
