Role Description The Java Full Stack Trainer will design and deliver comprehensive training modules covering core Java, backend frameworks, and modern front-end technologies. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning lessons, conducting interactive classroom sessions, guiding learners through live projects, and providing individual feedback and mentoring. The trainer will create and update learning materials, assess learner progress through assignments and evaluations, and support interview preparation and portfolio development. This is a contract, on-site role based in Bengaluru, requiring close collaboration with the Learntern team to align training content with industry expectations and program objectives.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Java and backend technologies (e.g., Spring/Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, database design with SQL/NoSQL).
• Hands-on experience with front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one modern framework such as React or Angular).
• Experience in full stack application development, deployment, and basic version control practices (e.g., Git).
• Demonstrated ability to teach or mentor, including designing curricula, explaining complex concepts clearly, and guiding project-based learning.
• Familiarity with software development best practices, including testing, debugging, and basic DevOps concepts.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse learners and provide constructive feedback.
• Prior industry experience in software development; training or academic experience is a strong advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
