Job Description

  • Solve complex software engineering problems and learn new skills.
  • Design, code, test, debug, optimize, and document complex web/middleware applications using various technologies.
  • Develop all layers of enterprise applications and engage in DevOps activities.
  • Provide direction and support to junior team members.
  • Participate in Scrum activities and uphold architectural standards.
  • Key skills: Java8/J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices, Hibernate, REST, Docker, GCP.

Job Responsibilities

  • Strong Java engineer with preferred AWS/GCP experience.
  • Tech-savvy engineer willing to learn new skills and track industry trends.
  • 5+ years of programming experience.
  • Proficient in Service-based architecture.
  • Expertise in Java, Multi-threading, Web services (REST or SOAP), Microservices, and Domain-driven architecture.
  • Familiarity with Spring framework, Hibernate, Git, Jenkins, SQL/NoSQL databases, and design patterns.
  • Exposure to cloud/containers/search engines considered a plus.
  • Familiar with agile development best practices and has exposure to Scrum.
  • Experience collaborating with geographically distributed teams.
  • Quick learner, excels in ambiguous situations with minimal supervision.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical abilities.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills, with client-facing experience.
  • Demonstrates good aptitude and analytical skills.
  • Takes ownership of tasks and responsibilities.
