Java Backend Developer - GCSIT

Key Responsibilities

Backend Development

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.Build and deploy microservices for distributed, high-performance systems.Implement event-driven architectures and real-time data pipelines using Apache Kafka.Design and integrate secure, efficient RESTful APIs and Java-based APIs.Collaboration & Integration

Work closely with front-end teams using Angular or React to deliver seamless user experiences.Participate in architecture discussions and propose innovative backend solutions.Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure smooth CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.Code Quality & Optimization

Write clean, testable, and maintainable code following best practices.Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization.Ensure adherence to software engineering standards such as Agile, TDD, and CI/CD.Required Skills & Qualifications:

Strong proficiency in Java (Java 8+) and Spring Boot.Hands-on experience with Microservices architecture and service orchestration.Proficiency in Apache Kafka for event-driven and streaming applications.Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.Familiarity with Angular or React for front-end collaboration.Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).Understanding of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).Strong problem-solving, debugging, and performance optimization skills.Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).Knowledge of API security standards (OAuth2, JWT).Exposure to message brokers other than Kafka (RabbitMQ).Experience with monitoring tools (ELK, Prometheus, Grafana). Key Responsibilities:
