Job Summary

The Human Resource (HR) Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, and managing all human resource functions of the organization. The role includes recruitment, employee engagement, performance management, payroll coordination, statutory compliance, training & development, policy implementation, disciplinary actions, and maintaining a positive work culture. The HR Manager will ensure that the organization's workforce is aligned with business objectives while complying with all applicable labor laws and company policies.

Key ResponsibilitiesRecruitment & Talent Acquisition

  • Plan and execute recruitment strategies for various positions.
  • Prepare job descriptions and publish job advertisements.
  • Screen resumes and conduct interviews.
  • Coordinate selection, offer letters, and onboarding activities.
  • Maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates.

Employee Onboarding & Offboarding

  • Conduct induction and orientation programs for new employees.
  • Complete joining formalities and documentation.
  • Manage employee confirmations, resignations, exit interviews, and full & final settlements.
  • Ensure proper handover and clearance procedures.

Payroll & Attendance Management

  • Coordinate monthly attendance and leave records.
  • Verify payroll inputs for salary processing.
  • Maintain employee attendance, overtime, and leave records.
  • Coordinate with finance for salary disbursement.

Performance Management

  • Develop and implement performance appraisal systems.
  • Monitor employee performance and productivity.
  • Assist department heads in setting KPIs and performance goals.
  • Recommend promotions, increments, and performance improvement plans.

Employee Relations

  • Resolve employee grievances professionally.
  • Foster a positive, healthy, and productive work environment.
  • Promote employee engagement and retention initiatives.
  • Conduct employee feedback sessions and satisfaction surveys.

HR Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws and regulations.
  • Maintain records related to PF, ESIC, Bonus, Gratuity, Minimum Wages, Shops & Establishment Act, Contract Labour Act, and other statutory requirements.
  • Coordinate HR audits and maintain statutory registers and documentation.

Training & Development

  • Identify training needs across departments.
  • Organize technical, behavioral, and compliance training programs.
  • Maintain training records and evaluate program effectiveness.

HR Policies & Documentation

  • Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures.
  • Maintain employee files and confidential HR records.
  • Prepare HR reports, MIS, and workforce analytics.
  • Ensure documentation accuracy and confidentiality.

Administration Support

  • Coordinate with department heads regarding manpower planning.
  • Monitor employee discipline and workplace conduct.
  • Support organizational development initiatives.
  • Assist management in strategic HR planning.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • MBA/PGDM in Human Resources is preferred.
  • Certification in Labour Laws or HR Management is an added advantage.

Experience

  • Minimum 1–7 years of experience in Human Resource Management.
  • Experience in recruitment, payroll, statutory compliance, and employee relations.
  • Experience in service, manpower, facility management, or corporate environments is preferred.
