Raptee.HV, an emerging electric vehicle technology startup based in Chennai, is seeking a passionate Frontend Developer to join our growing engineering team. We are building the digital infrastructure that powers next-generation EV mobility solutions, including customer-facing web applications, dealer management portals, and real-time vehicle telemetry dashboards. As a Frontend Developer at Raptee.HV, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining responsive, high-performance web applications using React.js, TypeScript, and modern CSS architectures. You will collaborate closely with backend engineers, UX designers, and product managers to translate complex EV data — battery health, range prediction, charging station availability, ride analytics — into intuitive, accessible interfaces. Your work will span the entire frontend lifecycle: from component architecture and state management to performance optimization, cross-browser compatibility, and production deployment via CI/CD pipelines.

Key responsibilities include: building reusable, typed React components with Storybook documentation; implementing global state management using Redux Toolkit or Zustand with persistence strategies; integrating RESTful and GraphQL APIs with React Query for caching, background updates, and optimistic UI; developing real-time dashboards using WebSocket connections for live vehicle telemetry; ensuring WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility compliance across all user-facing flows; writing unit and integration tests with Vitest and React Testing Library achieving 80%+ coverage; optimizing bundle size and Core Web Vitals through code-splitting, lazy loading, and efficient asset delivery; participating in design system evolution with Figma-to-code workflows; conducting peer code reviews with focus on performance, security, and maintainability; and mentoring junior developers or interns through structured onboarding and pair programming.

We are looking for candidates with 1–3 years of professional frontend experience (or exceptional internship/project portfolios for entry-level), strong command of TypeScript, React 18+, hooks, context, and modern patterns like compound components and render props. Proficiency with Tailwind CSS or CSS Modules, Vite/Webpack, ESLint/Prettier, and Git workflows is expected. Experience with Maps APIs (Mapbox/Google Maps), charting libraries (Recharts/Chart.js), or WebGL/Canvas for data visualization is a significant plus. Familiarity with backend concepts — Node.js, PostgreSQL, MQTT, or AWS IoT Core — will help you collaborate effectively across the stack.

For full-time roles, we offer a competitive CTC of ₹4.2–5 LPA, comprehensive health insurance for employee and dependents, 24 days annual leave plus 10 holidays, ₹50,000 annual learning budget for courses/conferences/certifications, and equity appreciation rights (EARs) vesting over 4 years.
