We are seeking an Apprentice QA Engineer to join our growing quality engineering team in Bengaluru. This is a structured 12-month apprenticeship program designed for recent graduates or early-career professionals who want to build deep expertise in software quality assurance within an enterprise AI product environment. You will work alongside senior QA engineers and software developers to ensure the reliability, performance, and security of our AI-driven applications that process petabytes of data daily.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and executing test strategies for microservices-based architectures deployed on Kubernetes clusters across AWS and Azure. You will write and maintain automated test suites using Playwright and pytest for API and UI testing, targeting 85%+ code coverage for critical user journeys. You will integrate automated tests into our CI/CD pipelines built with GitLab CI and Jenkins, ensuring every pull request passes regression gates before merging to main branches. You will collaborate with product managers and developers during sprint planning to define acceptance criteria and create test plans for new features in our React and Angular frontends backed by Python and Java services. You will perform load testing using k6 and Locust to validate system behavior under peak throughput of 50,000+ requests per second, identifying bottlenecks in database queries and message queue processing. You will conduct security scanning with OWASP ZAP and Snyk as part of our shift-left security initiative, triaging vulnerabilities and tracking remediation in Jira. You will maintain test environments in our Kubernetes namespaces, managing test data provisioning with synthetic data generation tools and ensuring environment parity with production configurations. You will document test results, defect reports, and quality metrics in Confluence dashboards shared with engineering leadership for release readiness decisions. You will participate in blameless postmortems for production incidents, contributing root cause analysis and preventive test coverage improvements. You will mentor junior interns on testing best practices and contribute to our internal QA guild knowledge base.

We are looking for candidates with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (2023 or 2024 graduates preferred). You should have hands-on experience with at least one programming language (Python, Java, or JavaScript) through academic projects or internships. Familiarity with SQL for test data validation and basic Linux command line operations is expected. Understanding of REST API concepts, HTTP status codes, and JSON schema validation will help you ramp quickly. Exposure to version control with Git and basic CI/CD concepts is a plus. Most importantly, we value curiosity, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate technical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

The apprenticeship offers a monthly stipend of ₹35,000–₹40,000 plus health insurance coverage for you and dependents, annual learning budget of ₹50,000, 20 days paid leave plus 10 company holidays, and a clear conversion pathway to full-time QA Engineer role (₹8–12 LPA) based on performance evaluation at 6 and 12 months.
