Role Description The Head of Artificial Intelligence will lead the strategy, design, and implementation of AI solutions across Techkreeda’s products and internal platforms. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in the Pune Division, with flexibility for some work from home. Day-to-day responsibilities include defining the AI roadmap, overseeing end-to-end development of machine learning and deep learning models, and guiding teams working on NLP, computer vision, and data-driven features. The role involves close collaboration with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable AI architectures, as well as setting standards for data quality, model performance, and responsible AI practices. The Head of AI will mentor team members, build partnerships with external experts or vendors, and continuously evaluate new technologies and research to keep Techkreeda’s AI capabilities at the cutting edge.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science and Data Science, with expertise in algorithms, data structures, statistical modeling, and machine learning.
• Demonstrated experience in Pattern Recognition and applied AI methods for real-world problem solving and product development.
• Advanced knowledge of Natural Language Processing (NLP), including text processing, language models, and conversational AI systems.
• Hands-on experience with Computer Vision, including image/video analysis, deep learning frameworks, and deployment of vision-based solutions.
• Proficiency with common AI/ML tools and frameworks (e.g., Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn) and modern data platforms.
• Experience leading AI or data teams, setting technical direction, managing projects, and mentoring multidisciplinary talent.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders and influence strategic decisions.
• Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Background in deploying AI systems to production, including MLOps, model monitoring, performance optimization, and security/privacy best practices.
• Commitment to ethical and responsible AI, with awareness of fairness, transparency, and regulatory considerations.
