About Us

Rahul B Agarwal & Associates is a Chartered Accountancy firm offering comprehensive services in GST, Income Tax, Audit, Accounting, Corporate Compliance, and Advisory. We are looking for an experienced and technically sound GST Manager to lead our GST practice and manage client compliances efficiently.

Mandatory Eligibility Criteria

• Currently working in a Chartered Accountant (CA) Firm (Mandatory)
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in GST
• Must be residing in Navi Mumbai (Mandatory)
• Immediate joiners will be preferred
• Educational Qualification:
• CA / CMA / CA Inter / CMA Inter (Dropout) with relevant experience, or
• B.Com / M.Com with extensive practical experience in GST and indirect taxation

Key Responsibilities

• Independently manage the firm's GST compliance portfolio.
• Preparation, review, and filing of GST returns, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, and GSTR-9C.
• GST registrations, amendments, cancellations, LUT applications, and other GST-related compliances.
• GST reconciliations, input tax credit (ITC) reviews, and annual compliance.
• Drafting and filing replies to GST notices, assessments, and departmental communications.
• Handling GST audits, departmental proceedings, and client representations.
• Providing GST advisory and technical support to clients on routine and complex matters.
• Conducting GST health checks and compliance reviews.
• Coordinating with clients to ensure timely collection of data and adherence to statutory deadlines.
• Supervising, mentoring, and reviewing the work of junior team members.
• Keeping abreast of amendments in GST laws, notifications, circulars, and judicial pronouncements.

Desired Skills

• Strong practical knowledge of GST laws, rules, notifications, and compliance procedures.
• Experience in handling GST notices, assessments, audits, and litigation support.
• Excellent analytical, drafting, and client communication skills.
• Proficiency in GST portals, Microsoft Excel, Tally Prime, and other accounting software.
• Ability to independently manage multiple client assignments and lead a team.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
