Taradevi's Group is a premium real estate and vacation home development firm currently focussed on Shimla. Our active portfolio includes (i) Taradevi's Enclave (New Shimla) – luxury apartments, and (ii) Taradevi's Downtown Kufri – luxury hospitality/villas, with a pipeline of upcoming launches in Shimla, Konkan, and Vrindavan. We are building an institutional-grade real estate portfolio across marquee leisure and religious tourism destinations in India.

POSITION: GENERAL MANAGER – FINANCE

We're looking for a seasoned finance leader with proven experience in the real estate sector to head the financial and accounting functions of the organisation across all current and upcoming projects. The ideal candidate brings strong strategic and hands-on expertise in project finance, statutory compliance, taxation, financial reporting, treasury, and fund-raising, along with the leadership maturity to build and run the finance function independently.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Function leadership: Own the end-to-end finance & accounts function across all projects — Taradevi's Enclave, Taradevi's Downtown Kufri, and the upcoming pipeline in Shimla, Konkan, and Vrindavan.
• Planning & reporting: Drive project-wise financial planning, budgeting, cost control, and expenditure monitoring across all sites; own monthly/quarterly MIS reporting and present financial performance directly to the Promoters.
• Statutory compliance: Ensure complete statutory compliance across GST, TDS, Income Tax, RERA, ROC, and other real estate regulatory requirements.
• Banking & treasury: Manage banking relationships end-to-end — working capital, project finance, term loans, LC/BG facilities, fund-raising, and treasury operations, including cash flow and liquidity planning across all projects.
• Audit & team leadership: Lead statutory, internal, and tax audits as primary point of contact for auditors, consultants, banks, and regulatory authorities; build, mentor, and manage the accounts & finance team with strong SOPs and governance.
• Strategic finance: Support fund-raising and investment initiatives, including investor reporting and due diligence; partner with the Promoters on strategic financial planning and feasibility studies for new project launches.

DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance; CA/CMA qualification strongly preferred (MBA – Finance an added advantage).
• Minimum 15–20 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, with substantial exposure to real estate, construction, or infrastructure projects.
• Demonstrated experience managing multi-project/multi-site finance functions, including project accounting, budgeting, and cost control.
• Strong command over statutory compliance (GST, TDS, Income Tax, RERA) as well as banking, treasury, and fund-raising operations.
• Proven leadership experience — has built, led, and mentored finance teams, and can operate independently as the senior-most finance authority in the organisation.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills, with proficiency in Tally, ERP systems, and advanced MS Excel.
