# **Job Summary**

Gartner is hiring an **AWS DevOps Engineer** to automate cloud infrastructure, improve application deployment pipelines, and build highly available, secure, and scalable enterprise platforms. You'll work with **Amazon Web Services (AWS), Kubernetes, Terraform, ArgoCD, Jenkins, CloudBees, Helm, Git, Ansible, Observability Platforms, and Infrastructure Automation** to support mission-critical cloud applications.

This opportunity is ideal for professionals with **24 years of experience** in **DevOps Engineering, Cloud Engineering, AWS Cloud Infrastructure, Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Infrastructure Automation, or Cloud Operations**.

# **Key Responsibilities**

  • Design, automate, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure for enterprise applications.
  • Build, optimize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, CloudBees, ArgoCD, and Git.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
  • Deploy and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes (Amazon EKS) and Helm.
  • Support cloud-native microservices architecture and automated deployment workflows.
  • Manage AWS services including Lambda, S3, IAM, Secrets Manager, ElastiCache, SNS, SQS, API Gateway, and OpenSearch.
  • Implement cloud monitoring, logging, observability, and alerting using CloudWatch, Splunk, or Dynatrace.
  • Support application reliability, disaster recovery, scalability, and cloud security initiatives.
  • Collaborate with development, platform, security, and operations teams to improve software delivery.
  • Develop automation scripts using Python, Bash, and Groovy.
  • Support Git-based version control, configuration management, and deployment automation.
  • Participate in rotational on-call production support and incident resolution.

# **Required Qualifications**

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 24 years of IT experience with at least 2 years in AWS Cloud and DevOps Engineering.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
  • Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and Helm.
  • Experience building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, CloudBees, ArgoCD, or similar tools.
  • Experience with Git, Ansible, and cloud automation.
  • Strong scripting skills using Python, Bash, or Groovy.
  • Excellent communication, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
