About the Role

We are looking for a Lead Full Stack AI Engineer to build and scale production-grade AI applications. This role is ideal for someone who has hands-on experience developing Generative AI solutions, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems, and AI agents while also leading technical initiatives and mentoring engineers.

You will own the end-to-end development lifecycle—from designing intuitive front-end applications to building scalable backend services, AI pipelines, and production-ready agentic workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy full-stack AI applications.
• Build production-ready AI agents using LLMs and agent frameworks.
• Develop and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines.
• Build scalable backend services and APIs using Python.
• Develop responsive web applications using Next.js, React, and TypeScript.
• Integrate vector databases, embeddings, semantic search, and AI workflows.
• Ensure system reliability through monitoring, logging, evaluation, and testing.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver scalable AI solutions.
• Lead a small team of engineers through mentoring, code reviews, and technical guidance.
• Drive architectural decisions and engineering best practices.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of software engineering experience.
• 1–2+ years of hands-on experience building production Generative AI applications.
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Strong experience with Next.js, React.js, and TypeScript.
• Experience building RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) applications.
• Hands-on experience with LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, or similar AI frameworks.
• Solid understanding of LLMs, AI Agents, Prompt Engineering, Tool Calling, and Agent Orchestration.
• Experience with vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate, Qdrant, Chroma, or Milvus.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, system design, Docker, Git, and CI/CD.
• Experience using AI coding assistants like Cursor, Claude Code, or GitHub Copilot.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AI evaluation and observability tools such as LangSmith, LangFuse, Braintrust, Phoenix, or Arize.
• Experience working with large-scale document processing or enterprise AI solutions.
• Knowledge of security, compliance, and handling sensitive enterprise data.
• Previous experience leading engineering teams or technical projects.
• Open-source contributions are a plus.
