CamCom is an award-winning Deep Learning Computer Vision platform powering automated visual inspection across automotive, manufacturing, insurance, logistics, and warehousing. Our AI-driven solutions enable high-speed, objective, consistent defect detection and damage assessment across metal, plastic, glass, and rubber surfaces.

We are seeking a hands-on Fullstack Engineering Lead with 5–8 years of experience to lead and scale our engineering function. This role demands deep technical ownership, strong architectural skills, and the ability to guide a high-performing engineering team while remaining actively involved in coding and system design.

You will work across backend (Python, Go, SQL), frontend frameworks, cloud deployments, and AI-integrated services — collaborating closely with Computer Vision and ML teams to bring models into production. This is a leadership role with high ownership, ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced, client-delivery-driven B2B SaaS environments.

• Key Responsibilities
• Own end-to-end engineering delivery across backend, frontend, APIs, and cloud deployments
• Architect scalable systems using Python (Flask/FastAPI) and Go
• Build reliable, production-ready microservices and fullstack applications
• Integrate deep learning/Computer Vision model inference into backend services
• Ensure robust data management, SQL performance, and efficient infrastructure
• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of 2–3 backend, frontend, and fullstack engineers
• Conduct rigorous code reviews, enforce best practices, and elevate technical quality
• Drive a culture of ownership, accountability, and engineering excellence
• Translate product requirements into technical designs and delivery plans
• Own sprint execution, release management, and production readiness
• Accompany Head of Delivery on client calls; translate client problems into phased technical solutions
• Collaborate with AI/ML, Product, QA, and Client Delivery teams
• Support deployment across cloud, edge, and on-prem environments as required
• Required Skills
• Strong hands-on development in Python (Flask/FastAPI); Go knowledge is a strong plus
• Solid SQL expertise — MySQL or PostgreSQL — with data modelling skills
• NoSQL and messaging experience — Redis and/or RabbitMQ / Kafka in production
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems
• Hands-on experience with Git, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
• Solution-architect mindset — ability to take a client problem and break it into phased technical delivery
• Frontend fundamentals — React or Vanilla JS; understands frontend-backend API integration
• Experience managing concurrent delivery across 2–3 projects simultaneously
• Demonstrated inclination toward mentoring and growing junior/mid engineers
• Background in B2B SaaS or client-delivery driven organisations
• Good to Have
• Go (Golang) hands-on experience — CamCom is transitioning parts of its architecture to Go
• ElasticSearch — working knowledge of full-text search and analytics
• AI-assisted coding workflows — Claude Code, Cursor, or similar; bonus for harness engineering experience
• Client-facing experience — scoping calls, customer emails, or support tickets
• AI/ML integration — backend integration of CV/ML model inference APIs
• Exposure to Computer Vision tooling — OpenCV, image processing, defect detection pipelines
• MLOps awareness — MLFlow, Airflow, Prefect
• Edge/GPU execution awareness — CUDA, NVIDIA Triton, Jetson
