**About the Role**

The Senior Software Engineer is a hands-on individual contributor responsible for analyzing business requirements, designing and developing software solutions, performing code reviews, and supporting application delivery. The role requires strong expertise in modern web application development and collaboration with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment. The ideal candidate should have 5–7 years of software development experience.

**Key Responsibilities**

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications using React, Next.js, Node.js, and PostgreSQL.
• Develop responsive, user-friendly, and high-performance front-end applications.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services using Node.js.
• Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and performance in PostgreSQL.
• Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following established coding standards and best practices.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support automated testing initiatives.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues to ensure system reliability and performance.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and security across front-end and back-end components.
• Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, designers, and fellow developers to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Conduct peer code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development practices.
• Work with DevOps processes, CI/CD pipelines, and source control management tools.

**Requirements**

• Have 5–7 years of hands-on software development experience.
• Have experience developing and supporting enterprise-grade web applications.
• Have experience working within Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Have exposure to cloud-based application development and deployment.
• Be proficient in React.js, Next.js, HTML5, CSS3.
• Have experience with Node.js, REST APIs, API Integration.
• Have experience with PostgreSQL, Query Optimization & Performance Tuning.
• Be familiar with Git, GitLab, CI/CD Pipelines, Agile/Scrum Methodology.
