Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Full Stack Engineer based in Chennai. The Full Stack Engineer will design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications across both front-end and back-end components. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with product and design teams, implementing responsive user interfaces, building and optimizing APIs, integrating databases and third-party services, and ensuring performance, security, and code quality. The role also involves troubleshooting issues, participating in code reviews, and contributing to continuous improvement of the development processes and architecture.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Full-Stack Development and Software Development, with experience building and maintaining web applications end to end.
• Hands-on skills in Front-End Development, including HTML, JavaScript, and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), with a focus on responsive and accessible UI.
• Experience in Back-End Web Development using modern frameworks, RESTful APIs, and database integration.
• Solid understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, containerization, or deployment pipelines is an advantage.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, and to troubleshoot and optimize existing solutions.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Job Overview

Required Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in PHP and MySQL
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Knowledge of Node.js and React.js
• Experience with SQL and SQLite
• Working knowledge of Apache, XAMPP and LAMP environments
• Familiarity with Visual Studio and web application development
• Strong understanding of database development and management
• Knowledge of database clustering and high-availability concepts
• Understanding of SQL Listener and database connectivity
• Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
