Role Summary

The Full Stack Developer will be responsible for the maintenance, enhancement, security, and performance optimization of the Devdiscourse news portal. The role includes developing new features, managing backend and frontend components, integrating AI solutions, ensuring high platform availability, and supporting continuous improvements to user experience and SEO.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance the Devdiscourse web portal.
• Develop frontend and backend features.
• Optimize website speed, performance, and SEO.
• Build and maintain REST APIs and third-party integrations.
• Manage databases, application security, and cloud deployments.
• Implement AI-powered features and workflow automation.
• Monitor application performance and resolve production issues.
• Collaborate with editorial, product, and business teams.

Required Technical Skills

• Backend: Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate, REST APIs
• Frontend: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React.js/Angular, Bootstrap
• Database: MySQL/PostgreSQL, Redis
• DevOps & Cloud: Git, Docker, Linux, AWS/Azure/GCP
• AI & APIs: OpenAI/Gemini APIs, RESTful integrations
• SEO & Analytics: Google Analytics, Search Console, Core Web Vitals

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 4–5 years of relevant full-stack development experience.
• Experience with digital publishing or news portals is preferred.

Desired Skills

• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Knowledge of scalable web architecture and cybersecurity best practices.
• Experience with AI integration and cloud-based deployments.
• Ability to work independently and manage production environments.
