Full-Stack Developer – Payment & Flight Data Integrations

ApronLinks is an aviation technology platform connecting airlines with airport service providers worldwide. We are looking for an experienced Backend Developer to take ownership of our existing platform, complete critical integrations, and prepare the system for production.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, understand, and improve the existing backend codebase
• Integrate third-party flight-data APIs
• Build and maintain reliable REST APIs
• Implement Stripe Checkout and Billing
• Manage annual subscriptions, renewals, cancellations, and failed payments
• Develop secure Stripe webhook processing
• Prevent duplicate payments and duplicate webhook processing
• Deploy, configure, and monitor applications on Microsoft Azure
• Work with Redis caching and external API failure handling
• Troubleshoot production issues and improve system reliability
• Maintain clear technical documentation and automated tests

Mandatory Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of professional backend development experience
• Strong experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and NestJS or Express
• Proven experience integrating third-party REST APIs
• Direct experience implementing Stripe in a real project
• Strong understanding of Stripe Checkout, subscriptions, webhooks, renewals, and payment failures
• Experience deploying and managing applications on Microsoft Azure
• Experience with Redis and relational or NoSQL databases
• Knowledge of Git, GitHub, Docker, testing, and production deployment
• Strong understanding of application security, environment variables, API keys, and webhook verification
• Ability to take ownership of an existing project and work independently
• Good written and spoken English

Important

Candidates without practical Stripe, API integration, and Microsoft Azure experience will not be considered. You must be able to clearly explain which parts of previous payment and API projects you personally implemented.
