Full Stack Developer (Node.js, NestJS, Angular)

Company Overview

We're a workforce solutions partner that helps companies find the right people for hard-to-fill technical roles. Right now, we're working on behalf of one of our clients, an organization in the media and entertainment technology space, to fill a Full Stack Developer opening. The role is fully remote for candidates based in India, and our client is open to structuring it as full-time, part-time, or contract work depending on what suits the right candidate.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Full Stack Developer who can build and maintain web applications using Node.js, NestJS, TypeScript, Angular, and MongoDB. In this role, you will design and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services, write clean and maintainable code, and help ensure product quality through solid unit testing practices. Exposure to AI/NLP or chatbot applications is a plus, given the direction the team is heading.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and enhance full-stack web applications by leveraging Node.js, NestJS, TypeScript, Angular, and MongoDB to deliver robust and scalable business solutions
• Architect and implement RESTful API solutions, ensuring smooth integration with third-party applications and enterprise systems.
• Develop high-quality, maintainable code by following software engineering best practices and implementing unit tests with Jest, Jasmine, or similar testing frameworks.

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience with Node.js, NestJS, TypeScript, Angular, and Express.js.
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB, including data modeling, schema design, storage optimization, and performance tuning to support scalable and high-performing applications.
• Solid experience with REST API development and third-party API integration.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

AI Experience

• Experience with AI/NLP or chatbot applications is preferred.
• Hands-on experience using AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate software development, improve code quality, and streamline debugging and testing processes is considered an advantage.

Managerial Experience

• The role emphasizes hands-on technical development and individual ownership, with no expectation of prior team leadership or people management experience.
• Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver features end to end.

Operational Experience

• Experience maintaining production web applications and resolving issues in a timely manner.
• Familiarity with unit testing practices using Jest or Jasmine to support ongoing code quality.
• Comfortable working across the MEAN/MEAN-adjacent stack in a fast-paced development environment.

Qualifications

• Any graduate degree (undergraduate degree in any discipline).

Certifications

• Relevant Node.js, Angular, or MongoDB certifications are a plus, though not mandatory.
