Job Description
- 8+ years of experience in frontend development and BI development.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics (master's degree or certifications is a plus).
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, Express.js, or Vue.js.
- Knowledge of application deployment, using CI/CD, container registries, and app services in relevant cloud environments.
- Experience and knowledge of backend development (PHP, Node.js, Spring Boot).
- Experience integrating frontend applications with backend APIs and working with RESTful APIs for data retrieval and updates.
- Familiarity with BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik, with experience in designing and developing interactive BI dashboards and reports.
- Strong data modeling skills for creating effective BI solutions.
- Strong SQL skills for querying and manipulating data.
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying up to date with the latest technologies and trends.
- Expert interpersonal, written, and verbal skills with the proven ability to educate, inform, persuade, and achieve understanding and buy-in on business needs across different functions, levels, and customers.
- Experience working with large datasets and knowledge of cloud technologies.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop interactive dashboards for the client, collaborating with business intelligence (BI) teams.
- Utilize UI/UX skills and some backend development knowledge to create dashboards accessible through multiple channels, enabling executives to take action directly from the dashboard.
- Introduce new skills, knowledge, and training programs into the data analytics and BI team environment.
- Collaborate with BI and data teams to create demos of interactive dashboards for various industries with relevant examples.
- Develop team members by sharing knowledge, best practices, and documenting system requirements.
- Assist Data Science/BI teams in setting up BI frameworks and dashboards.
- Act as a subject matter expert, ensuring adherence to standards and frameworks, offering guidance, communicating risk, and addressing roadblocks.
- Provide thought leadership in preparing RFPs, managing client discussions and communications.
