Full Stack Developer (Java, ELM)

s a PRTM Full Stack Developer you are responsible for developing and enhancing NXP’s enterprise application for Product Requirements and Test Management. You should have experience in application development, have excellent problem-solving skills and able to work independently with a business focused mindset. Primary responsibilities

Following industry best practices to develop efficient and reliable software.

Providing inputs during solution reviews, refinement and other technical discussions.

•

Design and develop utilities and interfaces to enhance business workflow.

•

Working with stakeholders, Business Analysts and QA team to closely understand the requirement and test cases.

•

Continually seeking methods to improve the application and according development processes.

•

Ensure industry standard best practices are followed during development lifecycle.

•

Work with mindset of delivering quality along with quantity with "first time right approach".

Job qualifications

•

Degree in Computer Science and relevant work experience of 7 years or more.

•

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and logical thinking skills.

•

Excellent English communication skills, both oral and written.

•

Proficient in Java programming (Java 8 and above), React and javaScript.

•

Familiarity with Java frameworks such as Spring boot, Spring Data JPA, Hibernate.

•

Experience with REST APIs and web services.

•

Experience in working with microservice architecture.

•

Experience in working with deployment servers preferably WAS Liberty or Apache Tomcat.

•

Knowledge of databases (preferably Oracle) and SQL.

•

Experience with Webpack, Redux and similar.

•

Experience in developing Junit and JEST test cases.

•

Proven experience in building client software (user interfaces) or single page applications (SPA) in REACT-JS framework.

•

Experience with working on design patterns is a plus.

•

Experience with working with AI coding platform /copilot /any other AI platform as a plus.

•

Experience in developing OSLC based applications and interfaces with IBM applications is a plus.

•

IBM ELM application knowledge (EWM, ETM, ERM, etc.) is a plus.

Your responsibilities

Your team

SwIS (Software IT Services) is an infrastructure provisioning team, where software engineers of NXP can request and use virtual machines for software product development. We own and support this virtualization environment and (almost) all the components - which is a NXP developed automated platform (IaC – Infrastructure as Code) with an agile way of working. You are responsible to support, maintain, develop this environment within NXP to make sure it meets the business requirements and standards.

Your profile

• 5 years of experience in remote IT Infrastructure support of global enterprise clients.
• Strong experience with multiple virtualization platforms (VMware, KVM based).
• Extensive experience supporting Linux (RedHat & Ubuntu) and Windows.
• Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, Routing, Switching, firewalls).
• Strong code development (Ansible, Python, Gitlab).
• Experience with monitoring solutions (Zabbix).
• Experience with AWS (EC2 instances, Route53).
• Nice to have: experience working with containers, Kubernetes.
